Hello all service academy graduates and prospectives!

I am Donita Blankenship from Lexington, NC.

It has been my life long dream to attend Kings Point, and now my time has come. Even though early acceptance isn't until November, I am practically ready. My back up plan is the Citadel in Charleston and West Point! I have not met anyone at the USMMA who was from NC, nor have I met anyone who went to the USMMA from NC. So I am hopeful!!! I am a simple girl who loves to fish and the military! Born and raised through and through the military and other countries and I can't seem to shake it!

You may wish to reconsider putting your real name out there on any public forum/blog. Easily fixed by simply re-registering under a different user name.
and while you are considering schools, don't forget about the State maritime acadmies, such as NY Maritime (literally across the bay from USMMA); Mass, Maine, and others.
