....the younger ones chances on getting into the Naval Academy? I was wondering if anyone had any insight into this situation. My older son is in his second year and one of his younger brothers eats and sleeps everything Navy.
The younger has applied to STEM and we were told by admissions that they only want maybe 2 kids from each Congressional district and geographic location was an important part of selection. It seems they want kids that maybe have limited knowledge and or familiarity of the USNA. Could his familiarity with the Academy(having an older brother enrolled, visiting on several occasions, attending sporting events...) hurt his chances getting into STEM or Summer Seminar?
Does the USNA cross reference and check to see if older brothers or sisters are enrolled or are alumni?
Thanks for any words of wisdom.
