As a retiree and living near a military installation, Tricare prime has been a godsend. Now with a daughter having recently graduated from college, I'm exploring options other than putting her on Tricare that covers her through age 26? The premiums are $186 per month, and I have to think that commercial health insurance companies could be more cost effective. When I renew my health options with my civilian company, I will probably opt for that plan, but I need something for the next six months. I'm sure others have experienced this issue before and I'm looking for ideas.
