Big congrats to you and your son, isn't it the best feeling!

Congratulations and welcome to all of you to the KP family. Enjoy the feeling, it's a great one.

Congrats to all the KP appointees. :thumb:

Make sure you join your local USMMA Parent's Association.

I have observed that the KP PAs take a back-seat to no other, they are very active.

Congratulations

See you July9th.

Congrats! Luigi is right, KP parents associations are very active and supportive of our Mids :thumb:

Now wrap up in bubble wrap and don't do anything dumb to cause an injury while you are having fun at home the last few months!!

Congrats to the soon to be Plebe Candidates! :yay:

Keep hanging tough to everyone else. News will be coming soon!

Try to attend those welcome aboard picnics if at all possible. Gravitate towards the Alumni as some attend the function. They are truly THE best. And like Luigi said, seek out your Parent's Assoc. if they haven't gotten to you yet. KP parents stick together for good reason. :thumb:

Congratulations to all!

I second the advice about joining the local Parents' Association and attending the Welcome Aboard lunches/picnics! The support is fantastic.

Welcome aboard picnic

The Mid-Atlantic Parents Association (Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia & Washington DC) will be hosting their Welcome Aboard Class of 2013 picnic on Saturday 6 June 2009 at the Coast Guard Station in Alexandria, Virginia. You don't have to live in those states to attend. More information will be posted later and on http://www.usmmamidatlanticparents.org.
