I can't even imagine!! I honestly thought that since we made it this far we might hang on for another week as backup for any possible open spots. UGH, well congrats again for your DS, very exciting.

Well, DS made it all the way to the end, and just received the TWE via his portal. Super proud of him and all those that put in the work to get here. Congratulations, prayers, and best wishes to the USMA Class of 2028 - you're going to crush it! Barring a late backfill appointment to WP, DS will be joining the Class of 2028 Ratline at VMI with a nearly full-ride via AROTC scholarship, VMI Call to Duty Scholarship, and another VMI scholarship. As I tell all my children and students, God's plans are far better than our plans - we just have to trust his will for our lives!

My DS got and accepted his appointment to West Point yesterday. Two years of struggle, worry, anger, reflection, and by and large support from people of character on this board.

My thoughts are with every DS, DD, and stakeholder on this board. May each of you driven and supportive people find your niche, and pursue ultimately what you define as happiness.

Lastly my son now how the opportunity he has dreamed of, after previous shortcomings and let downs.
