Hi, can someone explain to me how the OML works? What kinds of things do you get credit/points for? Who keeps track of the points and how are they compiled? Thanks

In the grey horizontal bar beneath the gold horizontal bar, click on Accessions, then on Accessions Briefing. The powerpoint slide deck describes how it worked for 2011. It changes some this year, but that slide deck is pretty close.

Here's an overview from Cadet Command of the rationale for the change in OML and accessions

As one Professor of Military Science notes, the new OML weighting formula gives greater emphasis to the assessment of a PMS who has had the opportunity to observe his or her cadets over the course of three years. In view of the three year rotation cycle, however, this will apply to only one third of cadets.

... if I remember, the article also mentions how it gets rid of the dead zone; since two models will be used: the CC model and the DA model
