BCT starts 6/24. How long is it and how much time is there between the end of BCT and the begining of classes? What do the cadets do during that time?

I'm 99% sure. BCT is 5 weeks and 2 days long. You start on Thursday the 24th of June. You will "March Out" on Saturday, the 31st of July. You will then move into your room, start getting your classes figured out, buying books, etc... Then, on the 4th of August, you will have you "A" day. "Acceptance Day". That is when you become a cadet. Some parent and family come and watch. They usually allow you a couple hours with your family. There's a parade and putting on your shoulder boards on your uniform. The next day, thursday the 5th, you start classes. A current student can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how it was 2 years ago.

which is a real pain for getting books and all. line at the c store was like 3 hrs long. some ppl missed a briefing since we had to buy all our books but didn't have the time earlier. try to go as early as possible so you can get in and get out before the huge lines get there
