I-Day Question

I heartily recommend the Colorado Parents Club Picnic. You will get a lot of information from a great bunch of people.

Thanks, Wishful. Is this only for Colorado parents or all CO 2019 parents? Also, do you know if the parents will get to find out which flight DS is in on I Day before the final good bye? The portal only states the squadron.

Last year the AOG had a tent sale on I day at Doolittle Hall and that is where we found out the flight info and academic year squadron my son was assigned to. At this sale, you will have the opportunity to buy tshirts with the class of 2019 listed on it as well as many other USAFA clothing items, gifts etc. We did our shopping there after the bus pulled away.

The picnic is for ALL parents/family Class of 2019. Vballmom's post is what I recall. Also I think Rose sent something out explaining the breakdown. It might in the Excel spreadsheet sent out to all Appointees who registered/released their pedigree info.

For all the parents who are wondering about sticking around, I would encourage you to stick around at the Chapel wall for a bit. My parents did that and said it was worth it. I, along with many other cadets, will be up at the cadet chapel wall to talk to parents. My parents really appreciated upperclassmen doing that when I went through and it seems to ease parents a bit. So if you are so enthused, myself and others will be hanging around and I would love to answer whatever questions you have about your basics, basic, iday, what they are and will be going through.
