Thank You Nuensis!
There have been some older posts that describe horror stories involving wisdom teeth, high blood pressure (which I assume everyone will have on I Day) etc.
You make it sound pretty simple & straight forward.
Thanks Again!
Nuensis,
I've read that they extract your wisdom teeth even if they're not problematic. Is there any truth to this?
When we had dental over Plebe Summer they told me that they weren't a problem now, but they would probably come out before commissioning, sooner if they became a problem. So most likely.
What else (medically) is done on I day?
What medical examinations are conducted on I day?
From what I can remember, you talk to a doctor and discuss any changes in medical status since the DODMERB, they do vitals, color vision, breathalyzer, and take blood for all your blood work.
I'm concerned that my blood pressure might be high from the stress of I day. Could you get sent home for that? Do they check BP on I day?
Everyone's blood pressure is going to be high. It's I-Day. Don't worry about it.
