I got a bad first-term report card, does USAFA require to see that in this time of the process?

I have a 3.6 GPA with 2 APs from Junior year, and 1 this senior year. I am not super competitive academically but I already have a nomination and am good in the other areas in my application. But the senior year has been tough for me and I've been pretty flustered with everything I had to get done and my grades flunked to an 80% average overall. I've contacted my teachers to see if they properly graded everything but I'm still worried if USAFA is going to require me to hand in a Mid-Term report card,

If you receive an appointment, USAFA will require you to submit your 7th and 8th semester transcripts. I feel for you and hopefully it won't affect whether you get an appointment or not. Good luck and hopefully you can finish out the year strong!

Thanks, I'm hoping to at least make it up this 8th semester/

The better question to ask yourself, in a very honest, brutal way, is why did your grades suffer? This forum doesn't need to know, but you do. Doolie year is tough academically, emotionally, time-management wise, and physically. By comparison, you're not stressed yet. Work on your study habits, practice asking for help, while managing everything else. This doesn't just apply to USAFA, countless students don't make it past their freshman year in college because they aren't prepared for the increased workload and responsiblites.

Don't "hope", do.

Good luck.
