Please verify your hotel reservation. Just called my hotel and was informed they are booked with local families and will not be able to honor my reservation. They have offered to place us at a hotel about 15 minutes away.

I got a note from the AOG that their pre-game tailgate party is cancelled. I am wondering if they will even have the game, and not reschedule? All my NY relatives are still w/o power, gas, and some still can't get into their homes because of flooding.

We had reservations for Wed & Thurs near Newark - and received notice that the hotel cancelled them. Same for rental car reservation. Flight from Calif to Newark for Wed was cancelled by the airline & when we tried to reschedule for Thurs or Fri, nothing was available. Consequently, we cancelled the whole trip and will be watching the game at a local sports bar with other USAFA parents. We were fortunate to get refunds for everything with the exception of the football tickets and tickets to the dinner put on by the Endowment at the Castle on the Hudson. Disappointed, but compared to the hardship suffered by all those in NY & NJ, no complaints here. We wish them all a speedy recovery. Go AF, BEAT ARMY!
