I don't attend the academy yet but I'm curious as to what happens to cadets if:

    a) They get injured at BCT, do they get sent home or do they stay there and find something else to do?

    b) They get injured at the academy, because I know that cadets need to maintain a PEA and I was wondering if that suffers in any way?

    Just Curious

Christcorp addressed the question regarding injuries during BCT a while ago as follows:

As for getting injured during the Academic year I'm not sure... but I'm sure one of our helpful members'll address this.

AFA will take care of the injury, do the surgery if necessary, rehab the injury. You will be excused from PT stuff while on the medical form.

like greentrees said, they will take care of you. I was in a car crash in November and hurt my back. I am still trying to recover but I go to physical therapy every other day and have not taken a fitness test since the crash. What happens is they just roll over your PEA from previous semesters until you are well enough to take it again.
