Anyone else who saw Iron Man 2 notice how when Hammer introduces the "new military" there are no Coast Guard robots? Poor CG, everyone seems to think you're just life guards on boats or something.

First thing I noticed! haha I went to see it with a friend whose brother is getting ready to be a 2/c at USCGA this year. We were definitely upset about it. Of course, considering what the robots did, I was okay at the end with the lack of the Coast Guard.

The robots aren't good for boardings, eliminate the "human" touch and kill innocent Americans....the Coast Guard didn't feel that was a good investment.

    Hey,

It wasn't THAT bad.... 7 out of 10 for the action, 4/10 for how much any of the storyline made sense.
I mean, really? Shine a laser on a triangle and you get a new element? Come on...
Plus none of it really meshed with the first one.

    Always grateful,

I liked it. It had some very funny lines too.

It was sequel that knew it was a sequel and owned it. Not the film of the year, but it kept me entertained.
