paradoxer, you totally nailed my strategy!! I just wish CC would explain the rules better, so we don't have to guess about this. Time will tell, I suppose.

My DS's status JUST changed within the hour!! (I'm on the West Coast and had taken a break from checking for lunch)

I discovered this forum yesterday and was shocked to find out the January results had not been posted yet. Then I was immediately surprised to find out cc had started posting! We began checking my DDs status nonstop and late this afternoon it changed to the "check your medical status" message. I really hope this is good news. My DD is so excited about becoming an Army Nurse.

I believe they will if that school is one that they are actively trying to expand into, ie MIT, Vassar, Cal Berkley, the Ivy League Schools, but not just to fill a slot at a mid tier school.

A lot of us addicted SAF members are so very, incredibly jealous of that statement!! This has been a very nerve-wracking experience!

HEY! I was at the Citadel today and yesterday for my pre-know stay. I spoke with the Army contractor about my scholarship status this morning. He said that his database didn't show that I had recieved one, but I wasnt denied one either, so he believes it will still take some time for ALL of the results to be updated. My online status says that I can contact DoDMERB for my physical, but that is all... What do yall think?

From past experiences, this is generally a good sign that you are one step closer to being offered a 4yr scholarship. Keeping checking it daily to see if it uploads any of top school choices.

Im still curious to see what schools the recipients got and if they are all 4 year or 3 year from this board...so call the Roos and do tell. This has been such a positive place to hang out in cyber space. I just hope the offers are perfect matches for everyone.
