If anyone had any questions about what to expect for Virtual NASS I'd be happy to answer them. I won't divulge too much as to "spoil" the program for anyone scheduled to take part later down the road.
The basic schedule was as follows (EST):
0900-1000: Personal Exercise Program
1230-1600: Virtual tours, panels, academic workshops
1600-1700: Group activity with your assigned classroom (roughly 10 other participants)
Overall, I thought I took something away from the program. I commend USNA's ability to adapt and at least provide us with something in place of NASS. However, it's just not the same as being there. I was lucky enough to attend a CVW before COVID-19 and felt like I took more away from that experience than Virtual NASS. I still enjoyed the program and think you will too. Hopefully those not as fortunate as myself will be able to make it to the Yard soon.
