Just For Fun: How Did You Pick Your Avatar?

OldRetSWO stole my thunder but he's on-point.

My class crest...I was Co-President of the Ring Committee...and was honored to have a major impact in it's design.

Each item has meaning...
And the user ID?

My avatar is just a daydream of buying a $100k 4x4 to take me anywhere. It will remain a daydream because my wife's daydream is a bit different. UserID is easily found with a google search, my father's boat in WWII.

I had six PCS in my four years AD from 1968 through 1972 from basic training and through almost full circle back to Instructor at my original Tech School. I had some great assignments, and it was hard to pick a squadron patch for an Avatar although I have rotated a few in and out. Det 5 621st was the best. We were working 24/7 directing, guiding and supporting aircraft and aircrews in combat and safely RTB. I just decided to give up and use the family crest. Everyone has a King (or Queen) somewhere in the past.

Wife and I spent a week in Scotland where all of a sudden she discovered tea even though I've gifted her with tea related items plus the tea itself. Soon as we got home she ordered a tea pot so she could pour hot water instead of microwaving it.
Speeds up pasta making too. Get pot going on stove half full, kettle going on full then add two together. Saves me 2-3 mins every time! (Yes...I Am a nerdy engineer)
