DS, ragin'cajun16, has recieved a nomination to the Air Force Academy from Congressman Scalise of Louisiana's 1st District.

Good news for Christmas for your DS. My DS just had his interview with Senator Vitter's board last week. Congressman Fleming's board doesn't meet until January 7th. I hope we hear something shortly after that date. Good luck to your son.
 
DS also intered with Senator Vitter's committee last week. We have not received results from that interview yet.

We haven't received any results from that interview either. Do you know when the results will be announced? I don't really know what the notification process is, or how long it takes.
 
We were told that the nominations from Senator Vitter would be made before Christmas. I will post here when we get results.

We checked USMMA application status this evening and DS Received a nomination to this SA also...although it did not specify which Congressman or Senator.

Senator Landrieu

Does anyone know if Senator Landrieu has interviews or does she just nominate based upon the applications?
 
I have not seen any information on how she prepares her slate. It appears she does it based on the application.
 
DS got a nom from

Rodney Alexander. Recieved last week. Triple Q'd with a nom and holding breath. .
 
Congrats to your DS. We hope to be in the same position soon. My DS is currently triple Q'd without a nom.
 
Nomination Notification

We have found out that the Academy website will be updated with the nomination status prior to receiving a phone call or letter from the MOC. Maybe sometimes the letter is received first but not always.
 
DS's nomination from Senator Vitter updated to the West Point web site today!

Great Christmas present. Any contact from Sen. Vitter's office?
 
No contact from the Senator's office. Just happened to see that it was posted on his portal yesterday.
 
Guess I was wrong on whose nomination it was. DS received a letter in the mail today from Senator Landrieu telling him he had received a nomination from her.

DS got a nom to the USNA from Sen. Landreiu. That makes two. And still we hold our breath.
 
Now it's correct Senator Vitter's nomination posted to West Point portal today. Has 2 nomination's and continued hope!
 
No contact from his office yet. Sort of expected a written notification in the mail today but didn't receive anything. Like almost everyone else in the process we just continue to wait...and hope.
 
Well is anybody else still waiting to hear about Congressional nominations?
