I just want to know why. There has to be a lot of pain behind those tattoos. Not just the physical pain, but a lot of emotional issues. I understand tattoos can make a statement - just not sure exactly what he is trying to say. I hear "help" when I see that. Of course, I doubt he would appreciate my evaluation. Maybe he likes the attention. I will have to let my single 25 year old daughter know that he is available...
Or mine, after my son got one my wife was ripping him on the phone. As I listened she finally calmed down she said " well, what is the image of the tattoo?" I yelled "it is a picture of you(wife's name)". I could see her anger turn towards me. But I really could hear my son laughing hard from my comment on the phone from 5 feet away.
Numerous times, I have offered this service to my offspring: if you feel called to get a tattoo, no worries! I have several hundred sheets of sandpaper, varying coarseness, and we can spend some quality time together while I make use of that paper.
I have said this before and I will say it again. I am forever grateful to the tattoo artist in Jacksonville NC who said.... " Marine you are too drunk to get a tattoo , get out of my chair"! Forever grateful.
I love the kids who are deathly afraid of getting a shot at the (relatively clean) doctor's office, and will lie in some chair for hours with a guy putting questionably filthy inks into their skin.
