Medical records for physical

Your medical records won't be needed at the physical. You will fill out a "Medical History" form and submit to a complete physical examination.
If anything from your medical history or your examination needs to be examined further, your medical records MAY be requested, but not always. Sometimes it's just a simple additional form to be filled out, sometimes it's another test that needs to be done, and yes, sometimes they will request your medical records to be sent.
If you anticipate a DQ or remedial from a known condition, you may want to get a head start on requesting your medical records from birth, in case they are needed to determine your medical eligibility.
The earlier you start, the better. I can tell you stories about Candidate #1 getting his DQ/Waiver review completed in 3 weeks, and Candidate #2's case taking 6 months before a decision was reached.
