Memorial Day Wkend.

Can anyone who has visited their ds/dd over Memorial Day Wkend in the past let us know the least amount of time we could spend w/ him? I've got the calendar and know that it's not always followed. We are hoping to have some time b/c he leaves for sea at the end of June and we don't if he'll be home or not before that! We ARE used to hanging loose!

We have a similar issue re: Memorial Day Weekend, i.e, whether or not it's worth it to have DS come home on Friday night and have us take him back Sunday night, stay to see the parade Monday. Any info or experiences would be welcome to help us sort out the "feasibilities" (is that a word?)

When my son was a plebe we stayed for Memorial Day Weekend and went to watch the parade. It was a lot of fun to see the community out in great neck. Regarding time to visit with you son??? He should be able to tell you how much time he will have.
