Our son received an email from Stabenow on Friday. Nothing from Peters or Huizenga yet.Has anyone heard anything on nominations from senators Peters or Stabenow?
How did you hear from stabenow, and how recently?
He got an email at about 5 pm.Oops, I just saw on one your other posts that your son got it on Dec 18. Did he get a call, or letter?

Congrats!!!Son just found email from stabenow in spam folder. Thanks for the info. Got another nomination from USMA. Son called Peters office. Was told they are waiting until January 31.
I agree. Interview for Peters was prior to Stabenow. I thought maybe Peters was waiting to coordinate with Stabenow, but that must not be the case. Peters is a new senator, and I wonder if his staff is just learning how they are doing this, and thus taking longer. But that is a long time.Wow. That is a long wait for some!!
Thanks. Good luck to your son too. Although it looks like yours is set now with his LOA. Good for him. Hope mine reaches his dream too. He has applied to three accademys, and would be delighted with any one of them. Goes back and fourth on one he is hoping for. Keeps working at his final push (stayed up untill 1 am this morning to get ACT scores, and boosted his math to 34 and English to 31; Has a 34 in science and a 30 in reading, good class standing, very decent CFA, Pres of NHS, varsity baseball and soccer captain and all league honors, great teacher and other evaluations, but not even a LOE from any academy. Maybe soon. Crossing fingers and praying). That is exactly what I was thinking. Good luck!!!
Thanks. He is a good kid. Actually, it really sounds like all these kids are quality young men and women. If mine is fortunate enough to be admitted I will have tremendous comfort knowing he is in a good place, and will make lasting friends.Wow! Sounds like a great candidate.
