Here are some videos I happened to stumble upon. I do not know what to think of them. The videos do make me sad and they make me wonder if those things that Mr. Prysner mentioned happen often.

Something from the other side - http://tomeoftheunknownblogger.wordpress.com/2010/01/05/who-is-mike-prysner/ (read the comments on this one)

What I got from this is... there is this man who wants to serve his country, he joins the Army and eventually becomes disillusioned with the racism and abuse coming from some service members and he also feels that his service is being used or exploited.

I wanted to share these links and hear what people have to say about it.

Its not really surprising why such racist and blatantly bigoted sentiments arose in the military and in American society in general. We lost more than 3000 innocent lives through a dirty trick planned and carried out by Muslim extremists. And it didnt end there. Many more people around the world died from terrorist attacks and they were all caused by, yet again, Muslim extremists. Losing fellow soldiers to cheap plastic bombs made by these sickos probably fed the hate even more. Stereotyping Muslims and inventing racial slurs is wrong, but its human nature. I'll bet those fighting American forces in Afghanistan call us nasty things as well. Talking trash about the enemy has happened whenever we entered a war and I really don't think its a problem. When these sentiments carry on into society and change how we treat them, it becomes a problem.

The IVAW the "New Winter Soldiers". Home to some of these but not all:
Carl Webb, Rick Duncan aka Richard Strandlof, Geoff Millard, Mathis Chiroux, Jesse Macbeth, Jimmy Massey, Amorita Randall, Micah Wright and Josh Lansdale. Looks like a new political star on the rise.

Looking at his comments, the man himself seems to have strong anti-capitalist leanings and a limited understanding of economics.
However, one must wonder if his views are the result of his time in the U.S. Army or a preexisting state of mind.

I was intrigued that when speaking of racism and orders from superiors they were all of enlisted ranks. Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant...Never once did he say Major or First Lieutenant. It makes me wonder where the officers overseeing everybody were. These 2 videos have actually made me want to become an OFFICER in the military even more. I want to be there to tell the Sergeant or whomever to kock it off and treat people like human beings. I am only one and cannot change the whole military but still I am one, and every great journey starts with one step.
