moving from citadel to west point

    hi,, as a rotc scholarship at citadel,, how difficult is it to get into west point,, have completed my knob year at end of this semester ,, any advice would be appreciated

    Honestly, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, if your grammar and writing ability is reflected at all in your post, you are probably looking at an extremely uphill battle to get an appointment to USMA. If that was some sort of aberration, ok, but you might want to clean it up a bit.

    USMA admissions are extremely selective at all levels. If you've taken normal plebe classes (English, Chemistry, Calculus, history, computer science, etc) and made As, then you've got a shot. Be aware though, you've missed the deadlines for fall of '15. You'd need to complete another entire year at the Citadel before re-starting as a freshman at WP. Only you can decide if it's worth it.

    It has happened. You are treated as any other college student applying. Still take the SAT and ACT again.
