    Hey guys.

So I'm having a minor problem. My SLS water bottle has been leaking from the mouth since it was chucked one day at SLS and hit the building. I have been tolerating it since then because 'My water bottle without me is useless. Without my water bottle, I am useless.'

Now I'm about at the breaking point. Its leaked all over my bed mannnyyyyy times and all over my school books once or twice.

Any chance I could email admissions and get another one:biggrin:?? I know it wont be the same, but then I really would hate to not have one.... I used it everyday during cross country season.

My question is...why did you chuck it in the first place?

It's SLS, you're getting maybe 5 hours of sleep a night. You're pumped, the cadre is pumped, and you're playing way too much dodgeball. Sometimes smart decisions (like not throwing a water bottle) dont cross your mind. It happens

No offense, but this post is pretty trivial. Why don't you just call admissions and ask? I don't think anyone on here can answer your question as accurately as admissions.

I didn't... It got thrown during a dodgeball game by a cadre member. I'll call tomorrow. :thumb:

I hope I get accepted to SLS. Sounds like a great time and I also love dodgeball...

Maybe there'll be some more 2016 applicants on this forum too, haha.

Silly question, but what part is broken, and what brand is it?

If it's a Camelbak or other well known brand and the bottle itself isn't broken, you could likely replace the lid, could you not? I'm not familiar with the design of the bottle, though.

It doesn't have a brand. You can't actually 'see' where it's leaking from but can see the puddles after it leaks. Seems to have a minor fracture in the plastic somewhere....

Get used to it. Much of the equipment provided to the government is supplied by a company called "Lowest Bidder."
