Hi, is there anything else besides the enlistment packet, the forms on the candidate portal, the immunization form, and the checklists in the brochure that I should be looking for or completing? I know that I'm supposed to wait for the information concerning my time slot on induction day but I just want to confirm that I'm not missing anything before I mail everything.

Stray thought - do you have a passport? It is NOT required for check-in at either NAPS or 🤞 USNA I-Day, but you will want one down the road as a mid, for various opportunities and definitely as an officer. Between end of NAPS and USNA I-Day, you’ll have some downtime, but this would be one thing out of the way.

You could apply now, have your parents hang onto it. You can look well-rested in your photo. You want the regular tourist passport, no extra pages, regular size.

This 2022-2023 info may be helpful; I couldn’t find the 2023-2024. Usually, not much changes - COVID vax policy is probably not current.

True story: my DS is headed to a really cool international destination via summer USNA trainings. His roommate is not….bc he doesn’t have a passport. Weird, but true! Good idea to get that ball rolling.

Besides the passport (not required yet, but useful l in the near future - per CaptMJ), I believe you have it all covered. Remember to bring the original verification documents (ssn card, drivers license, etc), the enlistment copies and your vax record. My dd has 3 copies of everything the enlistment office gave her, the vax record, and her originals. She also uploaded the copies to a flash drive to bring just in case they need them-like wearing a belt with suspenders.

Don't forget to bring your original birth certificate and not just your US passport. Good thing we brought it with us last year.

DEADLINE REMINDER: Vaccination form must be mailed to NAPS Medical NLT than July 1st. Must have 2 copies in hand when NAPSter reports on July 25th.
