I was notified this week that I was wait listed for NAPS. I am very excited. Does anyone know how many wait listed students typically receive appointments to NAPS?

It is totally depedent upon the number of students who decline the offer, so would've vary from year to year.

Be sure to proceed with Plan B. You may not hear whether you are picked up off the WL for some time (sometimes it's May but it has also been well into June). As the above poster said, it really depends on "yield" in terms of acceptances vs. anticipated acceptances.

There may come a time when you need to put down a non-refundable deposit for Plan B. I suggest you do it. If NAPS comes through, you can always try to plead your case to the civilian school but, worst case, you/your parents lose some money.
