T terp1984 5-Year Member Joined Oct 18, 2009 Messages 186 Jan 18, 2013 #2 The test is the ASTB (aviation selection test battery). The prep books are Arco and Barrons as well the FAA pilot hand book. Decent scores would be 7-9. There are no prep courses that I am aware of.
