    Hey guys,
I'm just as nervous as all of you, but I really have to be selfish right now and ask all of you ALOs, current cadets, and graduated cadets something that's been nagging me for the last couple weeks. I just recently called my admissions officer at the Academy, and she said that they've looked over my application and that I have "a pretty good ranking" and that I just "need to wait until March..." Those were her exact words. Well, does this give me a glimpse of hope? Does that mean I might hear next over the next couple weeks?

Thanks, and I do realize that I just have be patient and wait. Just trying to interpret these words.

Hey, i understand you are nervous but we can not read their minds.

It sucks but that is all part of the waiting game. Enjoy the rest of your time as a highschool student and let things happen on their own. What is the point of being stressed out? It will not make your chances of being accepted any greater.

Hang in there, I wish you the best of luck. You've made it this far.

Thanks for the encouragement, and yeah, it's almost impossible to read their minds...that's one thing I have learned.

    wait until March

Well.... although we are waiting too.. I honestly think it is positive.. otherwise they would not have said.. wait until March.. it would be you will just have to wait...

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.. also it seems they would not say much positive.. more evasive.

Ours told my daughter not to stress out too much, she was looking good. So who knows.. maybe they are just nice

Since you anticipate a military career, and will have to deal with plenty of red tape, here is a word you need to embody: P A T I E N C E. It will serve you well (especially if you become, someday, the parent of a freaked-out teenager.).

Yup...motto of the military is "hurry up and wait" and you will become very familiar with this during basic...

Indeed, during my CAP winter encampment in Alaska in -20 degree weather, this was the case.

Do a task really fast, while being yelled at constantly. Then wait for what seems like an eternity for the next task to begin... while freezing.
