Are you sure that a file that has been referred from one Board on to another Board can still have updated SAT information included?
Yes I'm sure, you can update ACT/SAT, but confirm it with CC so that it is not missed. Up until the first board (actually ~ a couple weeks before the board meets) You can make whatever changes as you wish. After that any changes you attempt, you should speak to someone at CC or your PMS/ROO to make sure that changes are actually made. My DS made a last minute change for 1st choice college, his PMS told him "attempt to make the change on line" and that he (PMS) would personally call and make/confirm the change. That was the day of the board, the change did get made. After the first board it's hit or miss, ACT/SAT updates are encouraged, some people last yr also changed school preference list as accepted/rejected letters came out.
At this point (summer) everything is changeable, they are just checking for completeness. Have everything tight before the 1st board. After that... if you try to make changes - hope for luck.
I can't stress enough, have a good relationship with your 1st choice ROO/PMS
they will help you a ton if you include them in the process. Yes, they may be a little disappointed if you chose a school other than theirs, but they are professional Army officers who want what is best for the Army.
If you don't get help from a PMS/ROO try elsewhere, yes some people do retire on active duty, but it's not the norm. My DS had officers from 4 different Universities go way out of their way to help him. The PMS at University of Cincinnati, The ROO at Xavier, the ROO at Arkansas and the PMS and ROO at Alabama. Clarksonarmy gave us a bunch of help via a lot of PM's and he knew DS had no interest in his school, these guys are pros. One school was not very helpful, I found out later that the ROO had rotated out and the new guy was struggling to get up to speed, s#!t happens. Be polite, be professional and be persistent, officers and future officers should overcome all obstacles.
