New to the forum

Hello out there in Service Academy Forum Land,
My son expressed his desire to attend USNA a month ago and has been hard at work since finding out the process. He is a rising junior at a small H.S in Maine and we took a family trip to Annapolis during the heat and humidity of mid July. It only reinforced his desires!
I am hoping that by visiting this site that not only will my wife's and my ?'s be answered but that our son will get more insite into the process of applying and becoming the best canidate possible.

There are good people here on the forum, parents, Cadets, Midshipmen. Tell, your son if this is goal, set objectives to achieve the goal. Don't be afraid to stay the course. I tell my son and daughter this from time to time. " It is not about dreaming, it's about setting goals and objectives, to achieve the goal. That's hard work".

Through the wisdom expressed our son has been able to make his way towards becoming an Army officer. As your son goes through the journey of Noms, basketball throw, fat envelopes, and bubble wrap there are many here to help.
