A refreshing change from the last administration, where honor and integrity was an afterthought.

Best of luck to Admiral Miller. :thumb:

Maj. Scott Baker said officers "had to coax her out of the bathroom." She gave police an incorrect birthdate, and she became argumentative with officers, but later told police she slipped in through a back door when someone else was returning inside.

    Hmm...

Okay...she gave them an incorrect birth date. I'm "assuming" she gave them a date that would make her "legal" in the bar?

"A statement made with the intent to deceive..." was a critical portion of the definition of a lie when I was a cadet at USAFA. I'm "assuming" it is the same at USNA?

"Slipped in through a back door when someone else was returning inside..." Would that not meet the requirements for trespass as she's not allowed to be there?

If so...I await the announcement of her facing an honor board. And a conduct board.

Nope, but "she" is on the swimming team so...I'd lay money down on either a turn back or a stern warning. :shake:

This can't be that unusual a situation? I recall one of the BUDs students in Dick Couch's book had been an academy turnback after running from the police and being caught with a fake ID. My godson, A recent USNA grad, had a roommate arrested for drunk driving--not an athlete but he was not kicked out and not turned back. I don't condone underage drinking but having attended Army/Navy games it seems quite prevalent at the SAs, as is the case in society at large.
