Hey guys, I'm currently applying to the USAFA, USNA, and USMA and am in the process for the nominations. I live in Pleasantville, New York and I know that our congressman/congresswoman probably would not be the same but our senators are. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything back yet? I am not too worried because for both senators and my congresswoman the application deadline was late October and New York is a fairly competitive state. I just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything from anyone related to New York. I feel like I am a pretty solid candidate overall with a 3.7 unweighted gap, 8 AP Classes and a 32 ACT, 2000 SAT, 7 Varsity Letters, a ton of community service, work experience and involvement in clubs like Model UN. Also, although this would be related to another thread, but is being "overweight" an immediate DQ? I am 6'1 205 pounds according to the medical exam but I qualified for all the Academies. My fitness scores were solid with 75 pushups, 80 sit-ups, 12 pull-ups and a 5:47 mile run. I'm not a physical freak, but I am a pretty muscular kid. I assume since I qualified I am all good but I just wanted your opinions. Thanks!
