New Hampshire. A long way from home. How about you?
Here is an extract of an email I sent to the various academies yesterday. Hope this helps. Also, we have not received the official sponsored prep list yet from the MMA according to our Admissons Officer:
"Please pass to any NMMI candidates affiliated with your organization: We will matriculate all sponsored preps (USAFA, USMA, USNA, USMMA) on 31 JULY 2014 at 0800.
We will be accommodating arrivals for the preceding 48 hours. Those that come during that 48-hour window will be fed and housed. Those that arrive prior will be asked to provide their own food/lodging at their own expense until 29 JULY.
All sponsored preps will be given an intensive math refresher course from 1-6 AUGUST. This is our third year to offer this program and past results were very positive. This additional housing, food, and training is provided to preps/parents free of charge.
Very Respectfully – Don Hanak"
Yes, I will be gone in about a month. My replacement is currently active-duty Army, will retire and come in to take over. He is a LTC, combat infantry officer, and a WP grad. He is also the PMS for the AROTC Dept. here and very familier with NMMI.

USMMA does pay for the flight there and the return flight at the end of the school year. We too are from Ca. and our son attended NMMI this past year as a sponsored prep. This is a fantastic opportunity to prepare him for KP.
Please read the info Kings Point sends you. In the past you had the choice to of government transportation (air) or reimbursement (air or POV). For the second option you only get repaid at the Govt. rate. For example, if it costs the USMMA $500 for a plane ticket, and you pay $600; you get back $500. Make sense?
