May your plan B turn out to be plan A.... we know how painful this is, as we just went through it earlier this month. being 3Q makes it hard there's just not enough room for everyone. BUT you will be successful where ever you go.Got my TWE too... Off to plan B.
May your plan B turn out to be plan A.... we know how painful this is, as we just went through it earlier this month. being 3Q makes it hard there's just not enough room for everyone. BUT you will be successful where ever you go.Same here TWE. Super bummed
Yes......that would be great, but we don't even talk about that.....if it happens, it will be a great surprise....just don't want DS to be disappointed again! Now there is still hope! Don't forget that one of the posters in the know (can't remember which one) told us that you will get TWE and can then get Falcon Foundation scholarship. Still hope!
I totally understand that. My fear was that if the TWE came or is to come yet that my son will change course to plan B without realizing that It could get upended again with the possible FF scholarship offer. It has been hard waiting and remaining hopeful. I just wanted to throw that tidbit out there to those who might just get surprised with that.Yes......that would be great, but we don't even talk about that.....if it happens, it will be a great surprise....just don't want DS to be disappointed again!
I am so sorry, take a few days to shake this off.... It's painful... After the few days to ponder and do what you need to for yourself then go after the best plan for you, you will do great no matter what. High quality people apply to the academy, so success is yours!!Got the TWE this afternoon in Portal. All disappointed here....had held onto hope for SOOOOO long.
Your the swimmer right?TWE. See you guys next year.
Our athletes are definitely tied to their sports! It is part of their identity. I have thought the same about my sons wrestling if he were to go FF prep. We have discussed because from what I have read if you get offered a FF prep spot they don't give you much time to reply and pick which prep school you want yo go to. Plus my son is really leaning toward a plan B school that doesn't have NCAA wrestling. I think he realizes his future is about more than his chosen sport. No professional wrestlers you know.I've thought the same thing, with plan B well on its way and flowing nicely, what will she do if they offer her the Falcon Foundation, I have no idea and I'm not discussing it with her, if it comes about she can deal with it then. Plus how would that effect her swimming career in college? You can't put swimming on hold for a year then come back and be as successful as you were. Not right away anyway.
