DS roommate was given an NCO regarding a former girlfriend also a mid ,it sounds as if she is going to be separated due to bad grades and is looking to hurt others. He claims there has been no contact since before Christmas. Does anyone have any insight and is this Mid in trouble. Thanks

This MIDN needs to talk with a JAG. I don’t think anyone can give advice without seeing details of the NCO.

I’m not sure how they work in the military, but, civil NCO’s have the potential to really frick up your life.

Seek chain of command (TAC officer) and legal advice.
Maintain ZERO comms with the former girlfriend.
Meet with Chaplain if needed for additional support.
Speak only privately about the situation.
Stay focused on yourself and staying on positive course to graduate
Good luck!

Agree with above. None of us know. Even if this is a vendetta, doesn’t matter. An NCO was given, it must be followed. I watched a Mid get canned for this at graduation because he refused to follow it. If it’s not warranted, the lawyers will give advice how to weather it.

People can be so petty, can't they?

This is an Internet forum…there are typically three sides to every story. Who knows who has the full truth.

Additionally, the MIDN isn’t related to the OP (at least it wasn’t posted)…I agree with Kierkegaard…not good to get your hands in someone else’s business, especially in this instance. Let the involved MIDN, chain of command, and JAG handle it.

Thanks for insight, the young man has gone through the chain of command and has met with TAC and has received legal advice. He claims to have been totally blindsinded and has no idea what she claims he said or did . Hopefully it will go away and he can continue on and live out his dreams and serve this great country.

I might be wrong on this (not a lawyer, not a JAG, someone please chime in if needed), but I think military NCOs are issued by your/their CO? And that's a lawful order you would need to follow
