Thank you 2020 but I don't know if that is the case. Lol.
So many competitive candidates , it is great to see but again, I read there are plenty of cases of multiple noms and being 3q and still no appointments so DS will wait and see.

Such a roller coaster and I believe it when everyone says this is the easy part.

Congrats again on USNA and fingers crossed for you guys for USMA.
Any word on Warren? I wonder if she ever interviewed?

Just back from an amazing basketball game! My beloved Crusaders (DH and I are both HC grads) UPSET USNA in OT! Praying that next year I will be fully decked out in Navy spirit wear! Congrats to all on the nominations!

DD just received her 2nd nomination to USNA as well! It showed up in her portal and simply describes the source as "Congress/Senator 2" with a date of 1/29/16. We presume it came from Senator Markey but no official word from anyone. We didn't see that coming since she presumed she would be interviewed if she were in the running. Fantastic surprise!

I do not know anything about the process other Than what I have learned along the way on here or from past applicants but both contradict each other.

I had been told that MA does not double nominate to spread the wealth and use competitive slates. ...but then I read on here some did receive both a senator and congressman nom just as my DS just did.

I was also told by current USNA and USAF students parents they did receive principal noms but that was under the last senators.... So anybody's guess at this point unless someone out there has been told directly from the offices how it is done!!!

Letter just came from Warren. Nomination for USMMA!! He will be so thrilled. The envelope wasn't sealed so technically I didn't open it.

Congrats everyone! I received my nomination to USNA from Senator Warren in the mail today- she does a 10-person per vacancy competitive slate. Senator Markey does too (I asked in my interview). Now just waiting for a final decision! Best of luck to everyone, hope to see some of you in Annapolis on July 1st!

Received the letter today of Markey nominating me to West Point. Now it's just wait and hope.
