Anyone know anything about when the results will be released? Or if it’s going to be delayed?

Take my answer with a grain of salt..... but because the most recent board concluded on the 12th and there's a potential for another board that will not conclude until the 26th I would not expect to get that coveted email for a while. As a rule of thumb, results are typically released 2 weeks after the conclusion of the board. But, here's to hoping for sooner. I'd expect notifications to start going out next week Friday, or the proceeding Monday (the 29th) as the weekend may change timelines

This year the results came back sooner then they have previously. In the past the results took 2 weeks. With the new NROTC system, this year the results usually came the Tuesday and Wednesday after a board, but that doesn't mean it always will be the Tues and Wed after the board ends. As this is the last of the boards, the results might take alittle longer.

Also remember that USNA and other SA's are just sending their turndowns and last appointments. NROTC might be seeing how many scholarship rejections they are getting to confirm how many more scholarships they can award. Those numbers are always "cooked in the sauce", but they might wait to send out some of the denied and awarded notifications until they get some confirmations.

I can promise you that the majority of you will know something by the end of April. Just be patient and good luck.

DS is still waiting as well but we were told by a Mid-mentor ( we were set up with someone in the Unit DS is going too to help answer questions or guide us) to start the NSI packet. Glad we are because it will take some time to get everything done while we wait.

what does that entail? what can we do to get started?

Look up New Student Indoctrination ( NSI ) its a Navy Site that will explain what NSI is. This is 2.5 week long program all new NROTC students are sent to before they start the school year. Some medical paperwork has to be filled out and also a request for a copies of other medical documents as well. If NROTC is your path on scholarship or college programer we were told to fill it out.

Here is the information about NSI. It includes the mandatory package and what it entails. If you have selected a college, and you know that you will be going the College Programmer route even if you do not get a scholarship, then doing this early might be beneficial. You might want to make sure the unit at your college sends college programmers to NSI. Some do, some don't, some only send a few. If they do send CPer's, then getting your application together and in to the unt after you know your scholarship decision could be helpful to getting selected for NSI.

If you are not going CP, then filling it out before a scholarship decision may not be helpful.
