In the past couple of days, my NROTC recruiter contacted me and told me that his commanding officer was ready to interview me for the NROTC ISR scholarship. I am beyond excited yet at the same time nervous as well because from what I have read from other posts about the ISR, it is where if the interview with the CO is a success that he will offer me the NROTC scholarship right on the spot. I also realize that there is much pressure associated with this interview as well. I just wanted to know, is there any particular difference between an ISR interview and a typical officer interview or is it relatively the same? If any of you have advice to give me regarding officer interviews in general or for an ISR, then that will be greatly appreciated as well.
