NROTC MO 2nd board

I as wondering if anyone had heard anything back yet for the 2nd board. Im in the North Texas area and its been about a month. I just need the decision so I can know if I need to execute plan B and so on!
 
Still waiting here too. My DS was told end of Match, beginning of April before he would hear anything.
 
I’m Central Texas, and the board went Feb 5-9. I was notified the first week of March. Did you reach out to your officer recruiter already?
 
District 6 here. DS received the news from the recruiter almost 3 weeks ago. Still pending in the system. Recruiter has not been able to get a timeline yet.
 
Southern Indiana and still waiting here. DS was told it would be the end of March before there was any notification made-anxiously awaiting
 
The application website updated its expected scholarship release date to the 31st instead of the 15th of March. Hurry up and wait, I guess. :confused:
 
Sent an email to the contact I have at the recruiting office. They replied and said that they had expected to hear something by MAR 18, but have not heard anything. He also said he sent a request to the Board (which is of course run through the Department of the Navy) to send everyone an update.

Anyone else have new intel?

*for context, I am through the 1st Marine Corps District

We are 1st MCD and still no word for us either! Good luck to all!

I can tell you that my son got a 3 year offer in late May of 2021. Have a plan B, but Plan A might still work out! Good luck!!
 
My DS was surprised earlier this week when he arrived at school and was greeted by the Marines who presented him with a big check representing a 4-year NROTC-MO scholarship! Nothing has updated yet in his portal. When should he expect to receive written confirmation?

Congratulations on your scholarship! My DS found out he received a scholarship on Tuesday morning this week (District 1). I am just wondering if you have received written notification yet, and how long it may take. I appreciate any insight as to whether it should be a matter of a few days, or much longer than that. Thanks!

I got a call from my recruiter on a Sunday and received an email from him with all of the details on a Tuesday. Email included Important Info Document, Selection package, PCR, Acceptance Questionnaire, Selection letter, etc. Another guy on my sports team also got a 4-year NROTC-MO scholarship and had the same process.

It might take a few days, depending on your recruiter. My guy was very professional and on top of it.
