Hello all, just wanna post an update to my stats from my first Marine option board. Let me know what you guys think in terms of my chances at the scholarship

3.75 UW GPA/ 4.07 W
All honors and 7 AP classes (CALC AB, Physics C Mechanics, APES, AP CSA, AP CSP, AP GOV, AP Stats)
aspiring mechanical engineering major
4 year varsity Lacrosse
1330 SAT 670 r/w 660 math
282 PFT (18 pull ups , max plank, 19:50 run) Updated from my old 250 PFT on the first board
LOTS of community service and leadership billets (involving volunteering)
train with local rss
Good interview from my perspective
highest honor roll in my school
Good teacher recommendations (some 8s, mostly 9s and 10s)
Great essays

Also would Like to mention I got into 4/5 of my top NROTC schools, if that helps (Tulane, Pitt, Penn State, Rutgers,) and waitlisted at UIUC Engineering.

I would bet on you. Interview is key.

It's actually difficult to say. In addition to the interview being important, so are the actual leadership positions you held and what you accomplished in them... especially what you improved over the past leaders. Your PFT looks very good which should help immensely.

DS received the MO a couple of weeks ago with similar stats (except 720 math & 10 APs), so I would think the #'s are in range, but the leadership could be the difference. My understanding is that service hours themselves aren't a indicator of leadership. Good luck!
