Hi, I'm a junior in high school and want to become a Marine Corps officer. If you could take a few minutes and tell me what I should do to improve my chances that would be awesome!
Stats:
GPA-3.75(weighted, school doesn't calculate unweighted gpa)
ACT/SAT (taking in January, but a test given to simulate the ACT had me scoring between 28-31)
High honor roll
Multiple A.P. and honor classes
Extracurriculars:
Leadership Club
- Started a fundraiser for teacher supplies
Key Club
-Club officer
Student gov. (combined student council and Class Officers)
- Elected by home room as representative
-Running for club officer this year
National Honor Society
Cross Country and Track/Field (all three years)
Train every other weekend at poole function
-I would train weekly but my Track schedule overlaps
Volunteer every weekend at my local library
PFT: 251
-definately will be +280 after track season
Any comments/helpful tips would be greatly appreciated
