NROTC Scholarship & DODMERB

My son just received a notice in the mail about getting his Medical check-up and eye exam for the NROTC scholarship.
Is this good news?
Or do they send out quite a few of these requests?
The scholarship web site still shows "No Descision"
 
Supposedly the ROTC programs are not scheduling Dodmerb physicals until after you have been selected for a scholarship.....unless you are also applying to a service academy. I would call your recruiter (if you have one) or the PMS at one of your colleges and ask for clarification. Good luck and hopefully congrats.
 
My son got his offer in the mail today, even though the Website said "No descision". He got his DODMERB packet in the mail earlier in the week.
He got his 2nd choice school. Its going to be a Great Christmas :thumb:
