I got my NROTC full right for the USMC and I submitted my medical paperwork I emailed them asking if they got it. do they reach out normally or how do i find out?

So I submitted my medical paperwork for the NROTC scholarship around a month ago, I did get an email from the CIV team that they have my paperwork and that its going to be sent to my NROTC unit and NSTC (im assuming thats how that works). for NSI I submitted it like 3 weeks ago and got a response within a week.

Just know you're most likely going to get a response from everything you submit to NSTC or your NROTC unit

Your host NROTC unit is responsible for arranging your travel to and from NSI. Please ensure that the email you entered on your NROTC application remains correct. From here on out while awaiting NSI, you should check that email daily, to include your spam folder.

If, for any reason, you may need to travel straight from NSI to your university, you should make that known to your NROTC unit.

Always email back to NSTC if you have changes in your availability or any changes in your medical status.

One step closer...

Son got an email today from his assigned NROTC unit to arrange NSI transportation.

He's assigned to NSI Iteration 2 (6/27 - 7/15).
This is when my DS started to realize that NSI was getting close and it was getting "real" He had flown before so he knew what to expect, but the realization that he would be flying by himself for the first time hit him on the drive to the airport. He wasn't freaking out or anything. You could just tell by his attitude and questions he was nervous. He had been like Fonzie for months up until the drive to the airport where I just dropped him off at the door.

Son will be flying for the first time ever when he wings his way to Chicago solo!

He's following in the footsteps of his grandfather and me; both of us began our Naval service at RTC Great Lakes. We're both headed out there for NSI graduation and are looking forward to strolling down memory lane since so much has changed since we were there.
