NUPUC question

Sorry, not sure which Forum this should go? Please let me know if this should be moved to some other Forum.
Now, the question:
My DS is interested in the NUPOC program. However, he doesn't want to go sub.
I know he can choose options, but is that guaranteed? or kind like you go where Navy wants you to go?
Appreciate any insight information.

That's a question for the officer recruiter. As with all the Services, the needs of that service dictate what happens, and can change. Usually, NUPOCS know which way they are going before they report as an OC. Again, officer recruiter discussion, should be locked into orders.

The majority of the NUPOC folks will go subs, will a smaller number going Surface Nuke.
