I received an appointment to the Class of 2017 (Presidential Nomination), and I'm a little worried about my admission status. It is the end of the first quarter and I have a C+ in AP Calculus. I was just wondering if this is enough reason to have my offer pulled.

The primary ways your offer could be pulled are if you:

(1) Bomb your classes such that USNA thinks you stopped working

(2) Have a drug or alcohol issue

(3) Have a serious legal issue (i.e., commit a crime)

(4) Have a disqualifying medical issue that arises after you were qualified

There are probably a few others but these are the biggies. Of note, the above don't necessarily guaranteed your offer would be pulled, but I wouldn't want to test USNA in this environment.

A "C" in one or more courses won't be a problem.

You have a whole quarter to raise your grade out of the "C" range.
Though, USNA might not rescind an appointment for 1 "C," I'd recommend getting that grade up to at least in the "B" range.

I finished spring semester senior year with a 79 in AP Calc 2, my first C ever....my appointment was not rescinded

Don't know if it is same for Navy, but submitting your final transcript by certain date is a requirement to keep your appointment for West Point.

Had to do some work around as some high schools in MD didn't release the final transcript past due date. Had a few kids with appointments vacationing not getting the message for the admissions office.
