Official USAFA Class of 2017 Appointment thread

If she accepts the AFROTC does anybody know if she is out for USAFA appointment consideration?

Accepting the AFROTC scholarship will not affect her chances for a USAFA appointment. I would definitely recommend she accept the scholarship.

She should accept it and also wait for the appointment. Most people here will tell you to keep the ROTC scholly until she reports to the AFA. Congratulations to your daughter!!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Any reason the portal has been down for the past three hours? (and still is) but usually it take just under an hour..... fingers crossed :eek:

Does anyone know if the academy will continue to release/notify potential appointees during Spring Break? We are still waiting anxiously and are afraid next week will be long and quiet.....:confused:
 
The portal has the red information paragraph about appointments back up. Does the board meet agin next week?
