At VMI, i'm pretty sure this is how it will be for the current rat mass. No music, no videos, and no instant messaging.:thumb:

At The Citadel, as soon as knobs receive their computers back before through ac year starts, there is no monitoring what they may/may not use their computer for.

That being said, this is the exception and not the rule, as I'm pretty sure all SA's do restrict media activities in some way. SMC'S vary, but as previously stated VMI is quite different from The Citadel.

At CGA, 4/c cadets are allowed to have internet access but are not allowed to utilize any type of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). They are also not allowed to listen to music out loud (i.e. they must wear headphones) and are not allowed to watch videos (Youtube, Netflix, etc) or DVDs. On the weekends, they must request permission of the OOD if they want to watch a movie in our company dayrooms (like a lounge) or in their rooms.
