My DD is re-applying this year for class of 2019. The service academy rep for the congressman she received a nomination from last year offered to do a phone interview this year with the panel. The reason is she attends plan B school back east and we are from the Midwest. The interviews are on a Friday so she would have to miss class to travel home thurs night to be there for the interview on Friday. We are willing to do so however if phone interview would get the job done it would save on lots of $$ for flights and also missed class time. Has anyone else experienced this? Also would like to hear opinions over phone interview vs live? We are kind of hoping interview more of a formality at this point but will bring her home if feel like it is necessary. Any Thoughts? BGO's?
