So let's say that I apply to the academy, and I am not appointed. I wouldn't want to just let go of my dream like that, so are there any colleges I could attend, and then re-apply? What would be a good college to go to, that will keep me on the track of joining the Air Force?

Any college that has the basic classes for reapplicants (Calc, Chem, English, etc.) If you're so inclined, starting in ROTC would be a good option too (especially if you get a scholarship:thumb:) Find a school you like!

There are also prep schools geared towards reapplicants. You'll hear Northwestern Prep mentioned a lot on this site-it's good stuff.
