So right now I have a Letter of Assurance from the USNA. My medical Remedial AMI was sent by mail two days ago, and so in a week or two I should get the results, which I am expecting will deem me medically qualified. Once I am medically qualified I am guaranteed an Offer of Appointment, which I am going to accept without hesitation.
My silly question is should I go on an unofficial visit to the USNA before this happens? I have not visited it yet. I have a CVW on the last weekend of April, but I will most likely be Appointed before then.
The reason why I am asking is because I know that the life at the USNA and that of service in the US Navy is one I truly want to live. It has been my own personal and private dream to serve since I was in first grade, and the USNA gives me a chance to fulfill that dream as well as pursue my education, which akso also very important to me. If I know that this is what I want to do, should I have to visit like with a normal college, to get the vibe of the school?
Forgive me for seeming so forward and arrogant. I really hate sounding like that guy who says, "Oh yeah, I already know I'm in." But the way things have played out, I am very hopeful and even certain my dream is about to come true.
Thank you for any advice.
